Terms of Service

Last updated September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Habitree app at app.habitree.co.uk. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Using Habitree

Habitree helps you build gentle daily routines by completing small tasks and growing a virtual plant. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Not medical advice

Habitree is a wellbeing and productivity tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you have concerns about your health, ADHD, or mental wellbeing, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

Purchases and pricing

  • Some features (such as premium environments and additional calming sounds) are one-time unlocks that you can purchase within the app.
  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
  • Unlocks are digital items tied to your account and are made available to you immediately after payment.

Refunds

Because unlocks are digital content that becomes available immediately, your statutory 14-day right to cancel may not apply once you have accessed the content. If something has gone wrong with a purchase — for example a duplicate charge or an unlock that did not apply — contact us at support@habitree.co.uk and we will put it right.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to break, probe, or disrupt the app's security or infrastructure.
  • Access another user's account or data without permission.
  • Resell or redistribute access to the app or its paid features.

Your content

The tasks, reminders, and notes you add remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display that content back to you so the app can function.

Availability

We work to keep Habitree running smoothly, but we provide the app “as is” and cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Habitree is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

Ending your account

You can stop using Habitree and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.

A note on this document

These Terms are provided as a starting template and should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before you rely on them for a live service. Placeholder details (such as contact emails and company information) should be confirmed and updated to match your business.
